Job Description
- Observe and monitor equipment operation during the extraction process
- Drive moving equipment to transport materials and parts to excavation sites.
- Clean up work areas and remove debris after extraction activities are complete.
- Organize materials to prepare for use.
- Lift and carry objects and materials using appropriate lifting devices.
- Frequent raking and laying of soil stabilization matting.
- Push and pull objects.
- General clean up and supply duties on the job site.
- Safely utilize power tools.
- Repair and maintain automotive and drilling equipment, using hand tools.
- Keep written records of excavation depths.
- Update knowledge of digging plans, machine capabilities and limitations
- Prepare area to be drilled.
- Set up extracting and drilling equipment.
- Ensure all extracting and drilling machines are working properly
- Transport parts and materials.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Monitor equipment and cranes during operation.
- Place materials into well holes.
- Assist workers in placing drilling equipment near specified site using blueprints.
- Remove debris after excavation.
- Dig trenches.
- Signal workers when job has been completed.
- Follow safety standards.
- Keep materials clean and organized.
- Work with project manager to determine schedules.
- Carry out others tasks assigned from time-to-time.
