LeadHire Limited is currently hiring Accountants for a reputable investment firm in Lekki Phase 1,Lagos Nigeria.
Job Summary
Manage the financial accounts, tax and the preparation of financial reports ensuring the reports are generated in accordance with IFRS.
Key Responsibilities include:
▪ Develop, implement and monitor compliance with the annual budget and plans.
▪ Provide accurate and timely financial reports and management accounts.
▪ Develop and document business processes and accounting policies.
▪ Maintain accounting systems for accounts payable, accounts receivable, as well as asset and liabilities management.
▪ Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow for optimum liquidity.
▪ Support with payment processing systems, payroll procedures and ensure compliance with all tax and statutory regulations.
▪ Ensure the preparation of monthly financial forecast and strategic plans.
▪ Ensure all relevant documentation is kept up-to-date and secure.
▪ Keep proper control on petty cash and treasury functions.
Skills Required
▪ Knowledge of financial planning, management and reporting
▪ Knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulations
▪ Knowledge of relevant accounting applications and systems
▪ Working knowledge of Sage is essential for this role
▪ Business and Report Writing Skills
▪ Relationship Management Skills
▪ Good Communication Skills
Experience and Qualification
▪ A first degree or its equivalent in Accounting.
▪ Completed or almost completed accounting professional certification e.g ACA,ACCA.
